Launching the Next Generation of Understand Tech

Today we’re releasing one of the 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 since the creation of Understand Tech, a release that marks the beginning of a new era for the platform.

This version introduces 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 built together with our lead customers, designed for engineering, product, and technical teams who need more than a chatbot. They need automated reasoning, structured workflows, and reliable outputs. Here is what’s new:

A visual, no-code builder that lets teams chain multiple AI assistants, run multi-step logic, and automate full technical processes, including generating complete test-case documents directly from specifications.

2️⃣𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝗦𝗢 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀
Teams can now protect access to internal AI assistants using their company’s SSO, with granular permissions for specific teams or departments. Ideal for secure internal deployments.

3️⃣𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲
A centralized library for large technical datasets, used to power assistants and workflows with consistent and accurate retrieval.

4️⃣𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶-𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁
Assistants can now maintain multiple saved conversation threads, making iterative engineering work and long-form analysis much easier.

5️⃣𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
Faster ingestion, improved indexing, and support for significantly larger datasets.
