Understand Tech builds an agentic AI platform, a no-code app builder (Understand Studio), and a catalog of vertical AI apps for technical organizations: semiconductor companies, standards organizations, OEMs, and regulated industries. Customers deploy as SaaS (EU and US regions), in their own AWS/Azure/GCP VPC, or fully on-premise and air-gapped through AI-in-a-Box. Pricing is deployment-based, with no token metering. Founded by semiconductor and IoT industry veterans; trusted by Intel, Infineon, Synaptics, Sealsq, GSMA, EMVCo, GlobalPlatform, FIDO Alliance, Resideo, and Optimum by Shiftmove.

- Deployment options: SaaS (EU/US), Private Cloud in the customer's own VPC (AWS, Azure, GCP), on-premise and air-gapped via AI-in-a-Box.
- AI-in-a-Box is software-defined: the full Understand Tech platform plus a local inference stack, delivered pre-integrated on NVIDIA Grace Blackwell hardware. Hardware is included in the subscription.
- Two AI-in-a-Box configurations: Team (NVIDIA GB10, compact, for a team or department) and Organization (NVIDIA GB300, rack-class, for organization-wide deployment and higher concurrency).
- Understand Studio, the no-code app builder, is available in-a-Box: customers build and run custom AI apps inside their own perimeter, with no external connections required.
- In air-gapped deployments there are zero outbound calls at runtime. Documents, embeddings, logs, and vector indexes stay local.
- Security: SOC 2 Type II certified, GDPR compliant, TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest, per-tenant isolation, BYOK/KMS, RBAC, audit logs, SSO (Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Google Workspace), zero-trust architecture.
- Customer data is never used to train models.
- Pricing is per deployment and per plan, not per token.

- Explorer: $500 per month, SaaS. 1,000 prompts/month, 1 GB training data/month, 10 admin users, public LLMs, Understand Studio, email support, credit card billing.
- Business: from $24,000 per year, SaaS. 3,000 prompts/month, 10 GB training data/month, unlimited assistants and workflows, SSO, SLA, advanced access controls and audit logs, SOC 2 documentation package, dedicated CSM, annual invoicing by PO.
- AI-in-a-Box Team (NVIDIA GB10): $25,000 per year, all-inclusive. Appliance hardware, platform, apps catalog, Understand Studio, BYOK encryption, maintenance and updates, installation and onboarding, hardware replacement within 5 business days.
- AI-in-a-Box Organization (NVIDIA GB300): from $150,000 per year, all-inclusive, rack-class hardware for larger models and higher concurrency.
- Enterprise: custom. Private Cloud in the customer's own AWS/Azure/GCP account, dedicated hosted environments, multi-appliance fleets and multi-site deployments, dedicated or private LLMs, industry solution programs, custom terms.
- Additional prompts on SaaS plans: $50 per 1,000 prompts.
- Proof-of-Value pilot available for evaluating a deployment before commitment.
